**Work you'll do**
You'll help clients define their requirements by leading and facilitating working sessions to gain an understanding of the client's current state processes and technology in the Shopify space as well as supporting the implementation that follows. We are looking for a Shopify UI developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming, transitioning seamlessly between platform configuration, and frontend and backend development.
- Acting as a Shopify expert, specializing in all facets of the eCommerce platform
- Create and effectively present UX deliverables (wireframes, workflows, prototypes, visual mockups etc.)
- Collaborate with the design teams to produce seamless, robust, and innovative front-end user experiences
- Generating custom-tailored Shopify themes, and altering pre-existing templates
- Working closely with project managers to address client requests
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously, and be able to address their specific needs and requirements at a moment's notice
- Understanding business needs that drive project features & functions and provide internal consultation

**Qualifications**:

- Required_
- 1 to 3 years of UX-related design and development experience with Shopify, Shopify Plus stores.
- Good knowledge of frontend development, liquid programming language, theme customization
- Good knowledge of JavaScript (jQuery), XML, JSON, SQL, PHP, CSS3, HTML5
- Proficiency in a major web design platform (Figma)
- Experience in implementing headless commerce projects with Shopify
- Strong hands to Install & Customize new Shopify theme
- Knowledge of building custom, private and embedded apps
- Preferred_
- Certifications are a plus
