**Job functions**:
You'll be responsible for developing the Haystack News app on iOS and tvOS devices, and helping us migrate to the latest iOS technologies (SwiftUI/Combine).
- Build engaging features to improve the user experience in our flagship News streaming app
- Build the foundational technologies that empower all mobile teams by joining the App Platforms team
- Design focused development taking care of tech debt and ensuring new code being written as per current and agreed upon design patterns
**Qualifications and requirements**:
- Strong written and spoken English is a must
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of related professional work experience
- Strong software engineering skills with expertise in Objective C and/or Swift
- Expertise in object oriented design and usage of current design on platform
- Experience integrating with RESTful APIs
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Strong communication skills
