Data Analytics Sales Specialist

**Minimum qualifications**:
- 7 years of experience in promoting analytics, data warehousing, or data management software.
- Experience with commercial and legal agreements with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams.
- Experience with planning, pitching, and launching a territory sales strategy.
- Experience in working with Developers or Customer Technical Leads to build business cases and accompanying plans for implementation.
**Preferred qualifications**:
- Experience in Data Analytics technology stack (e.g., Business Intelligence, Predictive Analytics, Hadoop/Spark Data lakes, Columnar Data Warehouses, Data Streaming, ETL and Data Governance).
- Experience with market leading Business Intelligence (BI) front-end, data analytics middleware, or back-end data warehouse technologies.
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Data and Analytics offerings (e.g., BigQuery, Looker, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, etc.).
- Ability to plan, pitch, and execute a start-to-finish sales and customer transformation strategy aligned to Data and Analytics.
**About the job**:
As a Data Analytics Sales Specialist, you will lead go-to-market strategies and business plays, manage campaigns, and provide feedback to Product and Global Solutions teams to inform our product solutions roadmap. You will serve as a Solution Sales Executive within the direct enterprise business organization. You'll be an advisor to C-level and their executives to shape their cloud and data analytics strategy and enable digital transformation. Additionally, you will help customers to improve their productivity and harness the power of our products to make their organizations more productive, collaborative, and available to their customers.

**Responsibilities**:
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, influence long-term strategic direction, and act as a trusted advisor.
- Lead our account strategy, generating, and developing business growth opportunities, working collaboratively with Inside Sales Representatives, Customer Engineers, and Google Partners to optimize business results and develop opportunities with enterprise customers.
- Explore and understand complex customer requirements on business and technical level. Engage, educate, and ensure satisfaction of the installed base.
- Develop the solution roadmap with the customer working specifically with analytics and manage multiple opportunities through the entire cycle simultaneously, working with cross-functional teams. Serve as the primary customer contact for all adoption-related activities.
