**Job Description**:

- The Supply Chain Manager Peru is dedicated to leading the SC team in Peru, managing the interface between Supply Chain and the business and will interact extensively with BU operational representatives as well as other Supply Chain teams. The role will ensure business needs and priorities are understood and reflected in Supply Chain plans and priorities, provide Supply Chain representation and leadership at a country level, facilitate resolution of issues and drive continuous improvement to enable the delivery of business ambitions and value for the asset.

The role conducts the management of Supply Chain operations in Peru, orchestrating sourcing and contracting, distribution and logistics, and SC partnering.

The Manager Peru will furthermore interact with host communities with an aim towards driving and enabling the Company and Supply Chain’s Inclusive Procurement objectives. Position Supply Chain as a strategic partner to the business, contributing to medium
- (6-12 month) and long-term (1-10 years) Business Unit strategy, providing innovative solutions to key business challenges and supporting the delivery of business results.

Develop and execution of supply chain strategies tailored to the unique dynamics of the Peruvian market, encompassing sourcing and contracting, distribution and logistics, and SC partnering.

Contribute to medium to long term regional Supply Chain business strategy, risk identification, and translate these into the Peru specific strategy, critical tasks, performance targets, plans and budgets.

Accountable for the delivery of an integrated, seamless Supply Chain service to the business, proactively foreseeing emerging issues and mobilizing a rapid response to mitigate / resolve issues and risks.

Drive the successful SC actions towards BU and Operations’ specific projects and Initiatives.

Accountable for fostering and overseeing the management of local inclusive supplier relationships, ensuring open communication, efficient procurement processes, and timely delivery of goods and services (in line with the IP strategy)

Lead the Peru Supply Chain team to navigate the intricacies of local regulations and compliance standards, working closely with legal and regulatory teams to ensure seamless and ethical operations

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and finance, to align supply chain strategies with business expectations

Drive best practices and ensure that the Peru SC team keeps a vigilant eye on market trends, economic shifts, and geopolitical factors affecting the region, allowing proactive adjustments in procurement and SC strategies

Physical Supply Chain (PSC)

Accountable for ensuring an effective and efficient PSC service is provided to the business.

Lead the local physical supply chain strategy and change programme to ensure optimisation objectives as well as business needs are met, and support the implementation of the associated programme of work.

Accountable for service levels, demand and materials planning, working capital optimisation and infrastructure investment in Peru.

Accountable for ensuring tight collaboration with site colleagues to obtain future demand needs and facilitation of operating model integration and support.

Collaborate with local regulatory authorities to navigate import/export regulations

Conduct the development of contingency plans to mitigate potential supply chain disruptions

Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, including labor and environmental standards

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain initiatives with local business goals

Cultivate strong relationships with local suppliers for reliable sourcing and delivery

People & Teams

Provide leadership, mentorship, and strategic guidance to the Peru supply chain team, promoting a culture of excellence

Identify, attract and nurture Supply Chain talent and foster an inclusive and diverse team

Establish, develop and lead a team of Supply Chain professionals with strong commercial and Supply Chain technical knowledge, stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills

**Qualifications**:

- An undergraduate qualification - Bachelor degree level or equivalent
Deep knowledge of Supply Chain management and interdependencies within a global context (category management, sourcing & contracts, purchasing, physical supply chain and linkages to other functions)
