Document Compliance Officer (all genders) Construction sites require speed – and legal certainty. As part of our Work Control Team, you will ensure that external personnel are deployed on our construction sites correctly and in compliance with legal requirements. You will review relevant documents, keep track of deadlines, and thereby create the basis for smooth site operations while ensuring compliance with country-specific employment regulations. As a competent point of contact, you will also advise and support our suppliers regarding document compliance and onboarding for our construction sites.
- Contact external companies to ensure the timely submission of all relevant and correct data prior to the start of work
- Support our suppliers with the onboarding process for our construction sites
- Check required documents for completeness and validity
- Manage documents in customer and authority portals as well as in our internal software
- Request and review required country-specific personnel documents, with particular attention to work permits for third-country nationals, and administer the personnel data system
- Maintain regular communication with the requesting departments, such as Project Management and Site Management, to ensure the compliant deployment of external personnel
- Handle administrative tasks, including monitoring the overall process, preparing checklists, ensuring deadlines are met, and performing spot checks of external personnel’s payslips
- Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of country-specific guidelines
- Prepare reports and overviews for Management and other stakeholders
- Completed commercial or technical education or vocational training
- Basic understanding of labour law, regulations governing the employment of foreign nationals, and the EU Posted Workers Directive
- Very good German and English skills
- Very good Excel skills and confidence in working with software solutions and online portals
- A flexible, structured, and accurate way of working
- Persistence, consistency, and perseverance
- A friendly and professional manner combined with strong communication skills Compensation We would like to point out that the minimum salary under the attractive Collective Agreement for the Metal Craft sector is € 2.397,63 gross per month. The actual salary ranges between € 2.500 and € 3.500 gross per month, depending on your experience and qualifications, and will be agreed upon together with you.
