Senior QA Automation Tester and Analyst

Job Description A Senior QA Automation Tester and Analyst designs and executes test plans and carries out exploratory testing and unit test development as part of a broader risk-based approach. This role will work closely with our Software Engineering and Development team. Responsibilities - At least 5 years of experience in testing. - Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. - Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. - Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities. - Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs. - Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved. - Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs. - Develop/write testing scripts and ensure software functions as expected. - Prepare data sets to test logic, error handling, and system workflows. - Work with end-users to broaden their understanding of systems and requirements. - Liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements. - Monitor debugging process results. - Create automated tests. - Collaborate with developers and project managers. - Investigate causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions. - Track quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts. - Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies. Qualifications - At least 5 years of experience in testing. - Working knowledge of Selenium, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Java. - Experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar. - Fluency in English (C1 or higher). - Full-time availability. - Positive attitude and desire to improve. - Attention to detail, customer success focus, problem-solving, planning and organizing skills. Preferred Qualifications - Experience maintaining automated testing suites as part of a larger build and deploy pipeline on platforms such as GitLab CI. - Experience as a software QA engineer, including various testing techniques such as UI testing, automated testing, test‑driven development, and other. - Familiarity with SQL database management language. - Full-time and remote availability.
