Salary: $120,000 - $130,000 plus super (flex for the right person) Location: St Kilda Road – close to train/tram & on‑site parking. A well‑established, national organisation is seeking an experienced AP / AR Manager to oversee end‑to‑end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations across a complex, multi‑entity environment. This pivotal role is responsible for leading high‑volume transactional finance teams, strengthening controls, and embedding process and system improvements as the business continues through a period of huge growth and transformation. Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage the end‑to‑end AP and AR functions across the group, including retail, contracts and corporate streams - Manage and develop AP & AR Team Leaders and transactional teams, driving accountability, performance and continuous improvement - Oversee high‑volume invoice processing, billing, collections, cash application and payment runs - Monitor aged payables and receivables, ensuring strong cash flow management - Establish and track AP/AR KPIs relating to accuracy, timeliness, efficiency and compliance - Drive process improvement and automation initiatives, reducing manual effort and system dependencies - Partner closely with the Group Financial Controller, Finance Leadership and broader stakeholders - Support audits, compliance requirements and strong governance frameworks - Act as a hands‑on leader during periods of change, stabilisation and system optimisation Ideal Candidate - Proven AP / AR Manager experience in large teams with experience in high‑volume, complex environments - Strong understanding of end‑to‑end AP and AR processes, controls and cash flow management - Experience leading teams through change, process improvement or system uplift - Systems‑savvy (ERP exposure such as D365 highly regarded) with strong Excel capability - Detail‑oriented, structured and process‑driven, while remaining people‑focused and empathetic - Confident operating autonomously and partnering with senior stakeholders - Background in retail, healthcare, manufacturing or multi‑site organisations advantageous Benefits - Permanent opportunity in a national organisation in a huge growth phase - Supportive, values‑driven culture with a focus on integrity, accountability and continuous improvement - Opportunity to lead and shape AP/AR operations in a complex national business - Exposure to systems improvement, automation and transformation initiatives - Genuine long‑term career opportunity with scope to make a meaningful impact How to Apply Click the link below to apply online.
