Combining historic charm with modern luxury, John Hood Terrace offers beautifully appointed private suites, a wellbeing salon, onsite café and a genuinely warm vibe, it’s a place where residents feel right at home—and where you’ll love coming to work every day As Facility Manager, you’ll lead the daily operations of our home, ensuring exceptional care, comfort, and lifestyle for our residents. Reporting to the General Manager of Residential Services, you’ll guide a passionate multidisciplinary team supported by experts in Quality, Learning and Development and P&C. operate under AN-ACC funding guidelines to drive continuous improvement and make the best use of resources. Together, we create a vibrant, inclusive community where residents feel valued, engaged, and truly at home. Responsibilities - Lead daily operations of the residential aged care home and ensure high standards of care, comfort and lifestyle for residents. - Collaborate with Quality, Learning and Development and P&C teams to ensure continuous improvement and resource optimisation under AN-ACC funding guidelines. - Guide and develop a multidisciplinary team to deliver exemplary resident experience and regulatory compliance. What you bring - Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse - Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a residential aged care setting in clinical management role including serving as an Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Lead. - Comprehensive knowledge of continuous improvement practices and a solid understanding of personal care and resident lifestyle requirements within the Aged Care Standards - Proficient in IT, including the Microsoft Office suite and iCare - Highly developed prioritisation and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and attend to multiple tasks. - Competency to continuously meet the requirements of 'Key Personnel' as outlined in the Aged Care Act. - Proficient knowledge of Accreditation Standards and AN-ACC documentation requirements alongside sound financial management skill - Current First Aid and CPR certification along with valid Working with Children Check. - You will either already hold a valid NDIS Worker Screening Check or be willing to obtain one prior to appointment. - Proven management and leadership skills and ability to guide, motivate and mentor staff along with commissioning experience. - Postgraduate qualification in Aged Care, Health Services Management, or related field. - Experience with Aged Care Quality Review and regulatory audits. - Knowledge of dementia and palliative care.
