Overview - Lead global tax strategy for Dyno Nobel’s worldwide operations - Drive value, governance and risk management in a senior enterprise leadership role - Based in Fortitude Valley with hybrid working The Role As General Manager, Global Tax, you will lead Dyno Nobel’s global tax function and partner closely with senior leaders to deliver compliant, commercially sound and value‑adding tax outcomes across the Group. This critical leadership role spans approximately 50 legal entities across 18 tax jurisdictions and supports a complex, multinational industrial organisation. You will: - Set and execute the Group’s global tax strategy within the approved tax risk framework - Lead tax planning, governance, policies and internal control frameworks - Provide expert domestic and international tax advice, including cross‑border matters - Support M&A, divestments and restructures from due diligence through implementation - Oversee global tax compliance and tax accounting (current and deferred) - Lead, develop and engage a high‑performing global tax team This role reports to the Group Financial Controller and plays a key role in supporting Dyno Nobel’s global growth and value creation agenda. What you’ll bring Ideally, you will bring experience from a complex organisation within manufacturing, mining and/or an ASX Top 100 company, with demonstrated global exposure. - You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high‑performance culture. - Relevant tertiary qualification with CPA or CA accreditation - Extensive experience in corporate or international taxation within complex organisations - Strong knowledge of Australian and global tax legislation and tax accounting - Proven experience managing tax risk, governance and group structures - Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder influencing capability - Commercial acumen to balance compliance, risk and business outcomes If you are excited about the role and think you have what it takes but your experience doesn’t align 100%, we still want to hear from you.
