About the role As the Workshop Manager/Estimator, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of the workshop. This full or part‑time role is integral to ensuring customer vehicles are repaired to the highest standards, on time and within budget. What you'll be doing - Managing the day‑to‑day operations of the workshop, including work allocation, quality control and staff supervision - Providing accurate estimates for vehicle repairs, liaising with insurance companies and customers - Ordering parts, monitoring inventory levels and maintaining relationships with suppliers - Ensuring all work is completed to industry standards and in line with workplace health and safety regulations - Leading and developing a team of skilled technicians and supporting their professional growth - Providing exceptional customer service and managing customer expectations What we're looking for - Extensive experience as a Workshop Manager or Estimator in the automotive repair industry, with experience as a panel beater or vehicle spray painter essential - Strong technical knowledge of vehicle repair and the ability to provide accurate and detailed estimates - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers, insurers and suppliers - Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team - Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines - A relevant trade qualification in Automotive Repair or a related field What we offer At Allan Doyle Crash, we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment.
