ROLE SUMMARY: Altair School is a leading bilingual IB institution located in La Molina, Lima, Peru, and part of Inspired Education Group, a global network of premium schools. To support key capital projects and operational continuity, we are seeking an experienced Projects Facilities Manager for a 4-month fixed-term assignment, starting January 2026. The Projects Facilities Manager will oversee CAPEX and OPEX operations across Altair and other Inspired centres in Peru. This role ensures the timely execution of construction, renovation, maintenance, and regulatory compliance projects, while coordinating multiple vendors and safeguarding operational continuity across the school’s facilities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Manage CAPEX projects across all Inspired schools in Peru, ensuring quality, budget control, and timely execution. - Coordinate and supervise all ongoing construction, renovation, and improvement projects. - Lead and manage vendors and contractors involved in construction, remodeling, maintenance, and general services. - Oversee OPEX administration, including operational expenses, preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs, and general services. - Develop, implement, and optimize facilities management policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency. - Ensure the timely acquisition and renewal of required operating licenses, INDECI certifications, building compliance documents, and other permits requested by local authorities. - Monitor project schedules, budgets, technical documentation, and reporting for all assigned projects. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations, internal protocols, and quality standards across all facilities. - Maintain strong communication with school leadership, operations teams, and external stakeholders to safeguard smooth campus operations. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: - A professional degree in Architecture, fully licensed (colegiado/a), with a minimum of 10 years of experience. - Demonstrated experience managing projects in the education, retail, or real estate sector. - A strong sense of urgency, exceptional service mindset, and attention to detail. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure. - Experience coordinating contractors, vendors, and technical service providers. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit; strong command of MS Project and Microsoft Office. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills. - A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate risks and drive operational improvements.
