Product Manager & Technical Sales - Sage (FinOps Platform) Reports to: Chief Technology Officer Position Overview We’re seeking a versatile professional to drive the evolution and market success of Sage, our FinOps platform (skie.io/products/sage/). This role uniquely combines product ownership, technical sales, and cross‑functional collaboration to accelerate Sage’s growth in the Brazilian and Latin American markets. Key Responsibilities - Own Sage product roadmap, prioritization, and feature definition (Product Management 35%) - Gather, synthesize customer feedback into actionable requirements - Define user stories and acceptance criteria for engineering team - Monitor product metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement - Maintain product documentation and release communications - Conduct technical discovery calls and product demonstrations (Technical Inside Sales 30%) - Qualify leads and manage sales pipeline for Sage - Articulate value proposition to prospects with varying technical sophistication - Support proof‑of‑concept implementations and customer onboarding - Collaborate with business development on pricing and packaging strategies - Partner with marketing and demand generation agencies in Brazil to develop go‑to‑market campaigns (Marketing & Demand Generation Collaboration 15%) - Provide product expertise for content creation, case studies, and marketing materials - Support lead generation initiatives with technical validation and messaging - Contribute to webinars, blog posts, and thought leadership content - Review and refine marketing materials for technical accuracy and messaging alignment - Interface with external UX agency to enhance Sage’s user experience - Translate user research and feedback into design requirements - Review and validate design deliverables against product vision - Ensure design consistency and usability across platform features - Work closely with 4–6 person engineering team on sprint planning and delivery (Engineering Collaboration 10%) - Clarify requirements and remove blockers for development team - Participate in daily standups, retrospectives, and planning sessions - Balance feature requests with technical debt and platform stability Required Qualifications - 3+ years of product management or product ownership - Strong understanding of AWS services and cloud infrastructure - Working knowledge of FinOps principles and cloud cost optimization practices - Demonstrated ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and business audiences - Experience with technical sales or presales engineering - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English - Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field Preferred Qualifications - AWS Certification (Solutions Architect, Cloud Practitioner, or similar) - Experience with SaaS product management - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies - Previous experience working with distributed teams - Experience collaborating with marketing agencies or leading product marketing initiatives What We Offer - Opportunity to shape a growing product in the expanding FinOps market - Direct impact on product strategy and company growth - Collaborative work environment engineering and leadership teams - Exposure to AWS partnership ecosystem and cloud technologies About Skie.io Skie.io is a cloud efficiency platform company and AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner, delivering integrated solutions for cloud cost optimization, managed services, and GenAI automation across the cloud.
