What we’re looking for:

As a Senior React Native Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain mobile applications using the React Native framework. You will collaborate with clients, Product Owners, Project Managers, and cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and deadlines.

Your key activities will include:

- Taking part in daily standups with clients and providing insights in one-on-one meetings.

- Performing project updates based on client and team requirements.

- Participating in project kickoff meetings and creating custom components.

- Estimating project timelines and setting up initial project environments.

- Testing, troubleshooting, and deploying services to ensure functionality.

- Updating event services, interfaces, and code as needed.

- Managing databases and handling media content in the mobile app.

- Developing new modules, utilizing Websockets, and refactoring code.

- Collaborating with other teams to ensure smooth integration and project delivery.

Your expertise in React Native and effective communication skills will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality mobile applications on time and within scope.

Experience

- 6+ years in professional software development

- 4+ years in native mobile development

- Strong proficiency in React Native, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3

Qualifications:

- Fluent English proficiency, both written and verbal.

- Experience with Node.js

- Familiarity with Node.js frameworks/libraries (e.g., Express.js, NestJS)

- Creating and developing RESTful APIs

- Designing and optimizing database schemas and queries in PostgreSQL

- Writing unit and functional tests for Node.js applications

- Understanding CI/CD processes

- Experience with deployment automation tools

- Practical experience from MVP phase to release on App Store/Google Play

- Full development cycle for mobile applications

- Experience working in an agile process with sprints

- Understanding accessibility and security compliance

- Team player mindset

Responsibilities

- Refactoring and fixing bugs in existing code

- Providing architectural and functional solutions

- Participating in planning and proposing new ideas

- Deploying test and production releases to app stores
