Associate - Cybersecurity

Role Associate to be part of our Data Privacy and Cybersecurity team based in our Lima office. Team Our Lima office provides specialist insurance law services to local and international insurers and reinsurers, with expert advice based on a deep understanding of the Peruvian insurance market. This particular team specializes in insurance and reinsurance, with emphasis on data protection, regulatory advice and cyber security. Clients - Local and International insurers, re-insurers and insurance brokers - Companies requiring advice in such topics (i.e. large financial entities, governmental entities, consulting firms, etc) Cases - Incident response - Regulatory & Compliance - Coverage advice Required Experience - Qualified lawyer in Peru, with a recognised law degree and admission to practise - 1–3 years' experience working on data privacy and regulatory matters - Some experience, exposure, or a genuine interest in technology and cyber security would be ideal - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to manage own time with excellent organisational skills - Strong technical and legal research skills - Bilingual in English and Spanish - Flexible, dependable, and reliable * where a level of experience is indicated, this is a guideline only and represents the amount of time we would usually expect a candidate to accumulate the requisite level of experience.
