At Colegio Peruano Británico, we are looking for a committed and empathetic Level Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will support students’ academic, emotional, and social development, contributing to student wellbeing, inclusive practices, and informed decision‑making aligned with the school’s mission, values, and institutional culture. What You’ll Do - Conduct structured interviews with parents of applicants and coordinate comprehensive student evaluations during the admissions process, assessing academic competencies, socio‑emotional skills, and alignment with the school profile. - Carry out psychological assessments, interviews, and follow‑up of identified student cases when warning signs arise or upon request from teachers, parents, or school leadership. - Conduct individual interviews with students, parents, and teachers to gather relevant behavioral and developmental information. - Monitor, document, and follow up on identified cases, recording progress and interventions implemented. - Observe students in classroom settings to detect emotional, social, or learning‑related difficulties. - Prepare observation reports and provide recommendations to the teaching team. - Design, coordinate, and deliver workshops, talks, and informational events for students and families focused on academic and vocational guidance. - Adapt workshops and interventions to the specific needs of each educational level. - Collaborate with Level Leadership in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of pedagogical and formative activities. - Actively participate in institutional activities related to student wellbeing. - Guide and support tutors and teachers, ensuring the implementation of effective student support strategies. - Participate actively in level meetings, contributing psychological insights to support decision‑making. - Review academic reports and behavioral observations to identify students requiring psychological intervention. - Manage and maintain organized and up‑to‑date psychological student records, ensuring strict confidentiality in accordance with Peru’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 29733) and the Psychologist’s Code of Ethics. - Maintain open, respectful, and effective communication with teachers, families, and school authorities. - Inform the Level Head promptly of situations requiring joint intervention. - Provide psychological input for student placement and class list planning for the following academic year. - Meet deadlines and maintain high standards of efficiency and professional quality. - Promote a respectful, harmonious institutional environment through professionalism and cordial relationships. - Participate actively in the annual performance evaluation process, contributing objective feedback and engaging in professional development planning. - Carry out other duties assigned by the Level Head within the scope of the role. Candidate Profile - Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with specialization in Educational Psychology or Child Clinical Psychology. - Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in educational institutions or roles related to childhood and adolescence. - Experience in student assessment, case management, and school‑based interventions. - Strong ethical standards, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality. - Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills. - High levels of integrity, responsibility, and professional commitment. - Team‑oriented mindset and ability to work collaboratively within a school community.
