Add expected salary to your profile for insights Exclusive to Jenner Recruitment we are looking for an Senior Accountant (21C) to work with a busy boutique accounting team Our Client This well-established and professional financial planning and accounting firm is dedicated to providing optimal service to its clients. As part of their expansion, they are currently seeking a dedicated professional to join their team. The firm places a strong emphasis on the importance of both their staff and clients, ensuring a warm and friendly working environment through dedicated care and support. They are outcomes based in their approach to their client's financial needs. They take the time to listen and understand goals and aspirations and love making a difference in their client's lives. The Role - Reporting to the Principal Adviser, this role will has a number of elements in this role: - The management of a diverse HNW client portfolio in conjunction with the other staff - Review of various compliance functions for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships and Individuals - Preparation and review of monthly and quarterly management financial statements - Tax Planning - Understand the clients needs and ensure the business promotes excellence with all client service standards - Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and third party providers - Liaison with third parties including banks, property agents and other advisers - Business planning from a practice management perspective - Be an integral part of the senior team in the direction of the business going forward - An opportunity for equity for the right candidate About You You will be a forward thinking and self motivated Senior Accountant that is committed to assisting clients and the team to reach their full potential. In order for you to be considered for this position, you will require the following: - At least3 years in business services including taxation, financial reporting preferably in a Public Practice environment - Have a demonstrated skillset in people management with positive outcomes - Be able to manage a small but High Net Worth book of complex clients with a competent team - Have strong technical knowledge base in Accounting - CPA or CA with a relevant tertiary qualification would be well regarded - An understanding of what it takes to run and manage an Accounting firm who pride themselves on best practice If you are looking at taking the next step in your Accounting career then this could be the role for you Please call Christine Jenneron 0447 444 505 or email your resume in a word format to christine@jennerrecruitment.com.au for a confidential discussion.
