[Solo Quedan 15h] Service Technician

Wage Range: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Pasco Branch

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

- Diagnose and repair equipment, including liquid propane, gas, diesel engines, electric motors, transmissions, drive axles, differentials, hydraulic systems, brake systems, steering systems, electrical systems, and lifting systems.

- Properly block, chock, and chain equipment, and disassemble equipment as needed to facilitate major component removal and repair.

- Perform equipment inspections to identify potential problems and safety concerns.

- Perform routine and preventive scheduled maintenance such as oil changes, adding fluids, changing worn parts, and other maintenance items.

- Complete basic and advanced technical training as assigned.

- Maintain a culture of safety & participate in all safety meetings.

- Perform other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Knowledge & Competencies

- Excellent customer service skills.

- Experience and knowledge in repair work for heavy equipment, machinery, and other types of equipment utilized in the construction, manufacturing, or distribution industry.

- Excellent mechanical aptitude, technical knowledge, and problem-solving skills.

Previous Experience & Education

- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

- Mechanical or trade school certificate beneficial.

- Valid driver's license required.

Physical Requirements

- Standing, walking, lifting, twisting, and bending on a frequent basis.

- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

- Must furnish own tools.
