The Role You’ll take responsibility for the leadership, coordination, and commercial performance of our electrical and communications projects across Brisbane and SEQ. This is a key operational role overseeing delivery excellence, team performance, safety leadership, and client relationships. You’ll work closely with directors, PMs, supervisors, and field teams to maintain consistency, lift capability, and ensure every project runs safely, profitably, and to a high standard. What You’ll Lead Operational & Delivery Leadership Guide supervisors, PMs, and field teams with clarity, structure, and confidence Maintain high standards of productivity, workmanship, and safety Ensure projects run to program, scope, and budget Safety Ownership Drive safe work practices and compliance across all worksites Champion SWMS adherence, toolbox talks, and risk management Commercial & Client Outcomes Manage budgets, variations, subcontractors, procurement, and quality Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders Identify and convert value‑add and future works opportunities Team Development & Performance Coach, mentor, and support field leadership Resolve performance gaps early and promote accountability and pride in workmanship Operational Improvement Support planning, forecasting, and continuous improvement Strengthen systems and processes that support reliable delivery What You Bring Strong electrical construction background across commercial/government sectors Leadership experience running teams, projects, or construction operations Commercial awareness and confidence managing budgets, risk, and opportunities Clear, direct communication and the ability to “have the conversation” Calm, practical decision‑making with a solutions‑focused mindset Alignment with our values of Safety, Accountability, Integrity, and Respect Experience with Simpro, Aroflo, or similar job management systems Structured cabling licence, HRWL (EWP/Scissor), Working at Heights Diploma of Project Management Why Join Platinum?
