Join to apply for the QA Engineer (SDET) role at Perform We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer with strong expertise in Java development for test automation and database validation to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently to ensure the delivery of reliable, high-quality software products. What You’ll Do - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and TestNG. - Create, execute, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for data validation, analysis, and defect investigation. - Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and define test strategies. - Independently analyze, debug, and resolve issues across the application and database layers with minimal guidance. - Perform regression, functional, integration, and system testing to ensure product quality. - Participate in defect triage, root cause analysis, and provide detailed bug reports. - Contribute to continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and frameworks. What You Bring - Strong hands-on experience with Java, Selenium, and TestNG for test automation. - Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL with the ability to read, write, and troubleshoot complex queries. - Proven ability to analyze, debug, and solve problems independently. - Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment. It Is An Asset If You Have - Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter. - Exposure to Databricks or other big data platforms.
