Role Overview We are searching for an engineer focused on DevOps, infrastructure, reliability, and tooling. This DevOps position is part of a team building and maintaining an enterprise‑level cloud infrastructure for microservices and cloud‑native applications on Kubernetes. Engineering Team The CMG engineering team consists of domain experts who collaborate cross‑domain within a culture of knowledge sharing. Engineers are encouraged to challenge the status quo, seek improvement and efficiency, and explore solutions using bleeding‑edge technologies such as AI. Responsibilities - Design and implement tools and technologies to provision and configure an enterprise software system hosted in Kubernetes - Design and implement architecture and networking solutions within Azure - Automate and script existing processes using Python and Bash - Provision, configure, and maintain cloud resources using Terraform and Terragrunt - Actively monitor the application environment and respond to incidents - Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents - Oversee cloud infrastructure and recommend improvements to technology or process - Contribute to team planning to solve engineering challenges - Provide detailed feedback and suggestions to team code reviews - Document solutions through written documentation, diagrams, and readable code Qualifications - 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes and Docker - 3+ years of experience with Azure cloud infrastructure - Experience with system monitoring and alerting (DataDog, Grafana) - Experience supporting, configuring, and deploying RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch - Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or Harness - Experience supporting customer‑facing web‑delivered software - Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux - Proficiency in Bash and Python - Excellent communication skills in English Tech Stack - Azure, Docker, Kubernetes with Istio service mesh - PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis - DataDog, Grafana, OpenTelemetry - GitHub for version control and CI; Harness and FluxCD for CD - Terraform and Terragrunt for IaaC - Python and Bash for scripting - React and TypeScript for front‑end; .NET for back‑end; GraphQL for API communication Values - We innovate with purpose - We focus on outcomes vs. output - We believe diverse and inclusive teams fuel innovation - We are humble yet candid - We do right by the customer What We Offer - 2+ year contract - 15 business days of vacation - Tech courses and conferences - Top‑of‑the‑line MacBook - Fully remote working environment - Flexible working hours CMG is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
