OSHC Centre Manager Roles - Boolaroo & Speers Point Public School's Big Childcare is a family-owned OSHC provider with a strong reputation across Australia for its quality care and enriching programs. We’re currently seeking 2 experienced and motivated Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Centre Manager’s to lead our vibrant services at Boolaroo Public School and Speers Point Public School located in Greater Newcastle, NSW. About the Role As a Centre Manager, you'll lead the daily operations of your OSHC service, support a team of passionate Educators, create meaningful programs, build strong community relationships and ensure quality care before school, after school, and during holidays. You'll work across split shifts Monday to Friday, please see below for individual service breakdowns. Service Schedules Boolaroo Public School Before School Care: 7.00am to 9.00am After School Care: 3.00pm to 5.45pm Total hours per week: 38 (including admin time) Speers Point Public School Before School Care: 6.30am to 8.30am After School Care: 3.00pm to 6.00pm Total hours per week: 38 (including admin time) Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage the daily operations of an OSHC service. - Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate programs. - Build positive relationships with families, schools and the wider community. - Ensure compliance with NQF, regulatory requirements and internal policies. - Manage enrolments, staffing rosters, budgets and service administration. About You You’re a confident and capable leader with a genuine passion for working with children and supporting your team. You thrive in dynamic environments and bring energy, professionalism and care to everything you do. What You'll Need - A valid NSW Working With Children Check. - A National Criminal History Clearance Certificate valid within the last 6 months (or willingness to obtain). - Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (completed or working towards). - Mandatory Child Protection Training Certificate. - First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificate. - Food Safety Certificate. - Rights to work in Australia. - Leadership experience in OSHC or Early Childhood settings. - Knowledge of NQF & “My Time, Our Place” framework. - Strong communication & organisational skills.
