Plan A Technologies is looking for a Data Analyst to support our analytics initiatives and help transform business data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience working with modern BI tools, and the ability to translate data into meaningful recommendations for stakeholders. You will work closely with Data Engineers, business teams, and data consumers to ensure data quality, structure, and usability. Please note: you must have at least 8+ years of experience as a Data Analyst to be considered for this role. JOB RESPONSIBILITY - Analyze and interpret data from the Azure-based data platform to provide insights and recommendations. - Develop dashboards and interactive reports using Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and clarity. - Collaborate with Data Engineers to define data requirements and improve data quality across Bronze and Silver layers in the Azure Databricks Medallion Architecture. - Write and optimize queries in Databricks SQL / Azure SQL to support analysis and reporting needs. - Support validation, data profiling, and troubleshooting of ingestion pipelines (ADF, Fivetran). - Work with stakeholders to gather BI requirements and transform them into effective analytical solutions. - Ensure documentation of datasets, dashboards, KPIs, and logic applied to reporting models. EXPERIENCE - Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields. - 8+ years of experience as a Data Analyst. - Strong experience with Power BI (DAX, data modeling, report development). - Solid understanding of SQL and relational data concepts. - Familiarity with cloud data environments. Microsoft Azure preferred. - Ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders. - Experience working with or analyzing data from ETL pipelines such as Azure Data Factory or Fivetran. - Experience with Azure Databricks and Medallion Architecture principles. - Basic knowledge of PySpark for working with prepared datasets. - Understanding of data governance, documentation standards, and visualization best practices. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Have solid written and verbal English skills. - Ability to maintain a positive work attitude. - Initiative and drive to do great things.
