Service Manager - Air Conditioning / HVAC Sun City Air Conditioning is seeking a Service Manager / Service Portfolio Manager with trade qualifications and experience to oversee our breakdown and service work. This would be a good opportunity for: - A senior tradesman with strong organisational capabilities / aptitude and the ability to multi-task and intensively use computers; - Someone running their own business who wants to focus on customers and projects, not paperwork and compliance (we can discuss the purchase of your existing customer base) - It might be just the right fit if you are looking to finish out your time in the industry before retirement. For the right applicant there is the opportunity to transition into a Technical Director role over time. We carry out service, breakdown and installation work across a wide variety of equipment ranging from splits through to chillers, VRF's and package plant. Our client base is 50% residential and 50% commercial. The business owners are very experienced business people who are looking for a HVAC professional to join the business on its ambitious growth journey. Key Duties/Responsibilities - 1st level technical support for field staff - Review of field reports prior to invoicing - Quoting - Training and mentoring of technical staff - Quality control Key Selection Criteria - Restricted Electrical Licence - Basic knowledge of excel / word and an interest in utilising IT to run an efficient business (we run a paperless environment and plan to leverage IT as much as possible to improve business outcomes) - The desire to deliver excellent customer service - Ability to build effective relationships both internally and externally - Positive and proactive attitude - Ability to work to timelines and manage multiple & competing priorities - Ability to plan, schedule and react to changing circumstances - Strong attention to detail - Strong interest in the commercial side of the air-conditioning business. - Current and valid motor vehicle licence - Attractive base salary commensurate with experience - Car allowance / maintained company vehicle - Management bonus Application Questions - Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia? - Do you hold a current Refrigerant Handling Licence (RHL)? - Do you hold a current electrical licence? - What's your expected annual base salary? #J-18808-Ljbffr
