About the role We are looking for various Senior Backend Engineers to take significant ownership in building Monte Carlo's cloud service, data pipelines and ML platform. The role will involve end-to-end development: from helping formulate requirements to full production implementation. You will be collaborating with a small team of seasoned engineers in a fast-moving startup environment. Location Anywhere in the Americas Here’s what you’ll be doing - Building production-grade backend services and APIs to delight customers - Owning major projects from inception to deployment, shipping at a rapid pace - Architecting simple yet flexible solutions, and then scaling them as we grow We’re excited about you because you have - 5+ years of experience delivering production-grade backend services required - Mastery of Python or an equivalent backend technology required - Experience with PySpark preferred - Familiarity with AWS technologies preferred - Experience building and scaling distributed architectures required - Experience building data pipelines preferred - Sense of urgency, ownership mindset, and customer focus required #BI-REMOTE Come As You Are Equality is a core tenet of Monte Carlo's culture.
