We're looking for a Strategic Backend Developer to help us build new API services that support our product vision. This role requires someone with solid experience working with highly scalable large distributed systems, relational and/or document databases, data pipeline systems, and frameworks to build high-performance RESTful web services.

The ideal candidate will have experience developing systems that handle sensitive information using encryption and signature verification, and that are PCI DSS compliant. They'll also have knowledge of banking concepts like reconciliation, ACH transactions, double-entry accounting, etc., and experience developing or integrating issuer processors and other banking infrastructure components.
