Job Summary:

As a Senior Full Stack WordPress Developer at Listopro, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our Digital Experience Platform (DXP) on a WordPress multisite instance. You will collaborate with talented UI/UX designers to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, ensuring seamless user experiences across all touchpoints.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Construct new websites within our DXP, leveraging your expertise in WordPress development to create engaging and responsive experiences.
  • Produce high-quality marketing assets to support new partners and programs, utilizing your skills in visual design and content creation.
  • Migrate legacy websites into our DXP, ensuring a smooth transition for users and stakeholders alike.
  • Maintain our websites via production tickets and ad hoc projects, consistently delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
  • Create custom modules for content entry and publishing automation, streamlining workflows and improving efficiency.
  • Optimize code bases via page speed diagnostics to enhance browser efficiency and search rankings, driving business growth through data-driven insights.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of other developers' work, providing actionable feedback to drive excellence.
  • Troubleshoot errors by reviewing logs and browser consoles, resolving complex issues with ease.
  • Assist with feature documentation, ensuring that our team stays informed and up-to-date on the latest developments.
  • Evaluate the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs for responsive page development, collaborating closely with designers to bring innovative ideas to life.
  • Ensure accessibility compliance via WCAG 2.0 A and AA standards, fostering an inclusive environment for all users.
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders, promoting open communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 5+ years full stack development experience.
  • 3+ years of WordPress development experience.
  • Proficient understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, SASS, JS, and jQuery.
  • Advanced knowledge of PHP (5+ years) and MySQL (3+ years).
  • Experience interacting with JSON RESTful APIs.
  • Experience working with WP Engine (2+ years).
  • WordPress Plugin Development Experience Required (2+ years).
  • Experience working with Azure DevOps (1+ year).
  • Elementor visual designer experience.
  • Understanding of custom post-type development and implementation via visual designers.
  • Experience with CMS parent and child theme development.
  • Experience with GIT version control tools and local development.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture.
  • Knowledge of schema markup and code optimization for search rankings.
  • Analytical mindset with strong quantitative and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective documentation and communication skills.
