We seek a seasoned Bilingual Structural Engineer to join our Lima, Peru office. The selected candidate will work under the guidance of the Principal Designer, providing technical support and collaborating with external experts to ensure project or study success.
Key Responsibilities- Develop structural designs that align with project, process, and client requirements.
- Create concrete and structural steel designs compliant with relevant codes and standards.
- Deliver structural designs within predetermined timelines and budgets.
- Facilitate timely completion of structural designs and drawings through design input.
- Excellent English language skills for communication, reading, and writing.
- University degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of post-graduate experience in heavy industrial or mining industries.
- Familiarity with mining industry and/or process plant design principles.
- Strong interaction management skills with clients on design and drafting issues.
- Ability to work independently, meeting deadlines and maintaining high accuracy standards.
- Leadership skills to manage design/drafting teams, achieving budgeted manhours and deadline targets.
- Advanced technical knowledge in the field of Structural Engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software packages.
- Skills in proprietary software relevant to Engineering disciplines.
- Excellent report writing skills and strong command of the English language.
- Able to work efficiently as a team member.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a practical approach to engineering challenges.
