Chief Trading Platform Architect

We are seeking an experienced Chief Trading Platform Architect to join our team at AlphaLab Capital. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our trading platform and work with a talented group of professionals.

• Design, build, and maintain a highly performant, highly available adaptive trading platform providing access to a broad range of CeFi, DeFi, and OTC liquidity sources.
• Implement and extend order management, compliance, exchange connectivity, market data, and routing functionality using software development methodologies.
• Design and implement our next-generation real-time trading platform.
• Manage and support the operation of our global trading system, troubleshooting and debugging issues.
• Work closely with traders and the business development department to implement new ideas swiftly.
• Mentor less experienced team members, act as a role model, and support their professional growth.

• Experience in implementing infrastructure components facilitating high volume, low latency trading within a prop trading firm or hedge fund.
• Track record of building highly performant, distributed, and optimized systems in C# or modern C++ (>= 11) in a modern Linux environment.
• Outcome-focused, able to balance speed to market and building highly available and robust platforms.
• Exposure to meta-programming, Git, CI/CD, unit/integration testing, Kafka, FIX, Cloud.
• Proactive communicator, willing to voice opinions but able to disagree and commit.
• Knowledge of OMS/PMS platforms, exchange connectivity, or high-volume OTC trading would be advantageous.

• Competitive salary based on experience: $180,000 - $250,000 per year.
