Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer (Flutter), you will play a crucial role in developing high-quality mobile applications for clients. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Providing daily standups to clients and collaborating with the project team to ensure client expectations are met
  • Attending and providing insights in 1 on 1 meetings with managers, clients, Product Owners, and Project Managers to gather requirements and offer technical perspectives
  • Reviewing and fixing issues in the latest build by conducting thorough testing and debugging of the Android application
  • Designing prototypes for client projects by collaborating with designers, clients, and stakeholders to create user interface prototypes for Android applications
  • Performing changes in the user interface according to clients/SOW needs and ensuring consistency, usability, and adherence to best practices in UI/UX design
  • Reviewing project codebases by conducting code reviews to assess the quality, readability, and maintainability of the Android application codebase

Responsibilities:

Client Communication
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project progress, discuss challenges, and address any questions or concerns
Collaboration
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure client expectations are met and deliverables are on track
Problem-Solving
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of the Android application to identify and resolve any functional or performance issues
Design
  • Collaborate with designers, clients, and stakeholders to create user interface prototypes for Android applications
Maintenance
  • Modify the user interface of Android applications based on client requirements or the defined Statement of Work (SOW)

Qualifications:

Education
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
Experience
  • 3-6 years of experience developing mobile apps natively in iOS and/or Android
  • 4 years of commercial experience developing and delivering Flutter-based apps
Skills
  • Good understanding of state management, Flutter flavors, and app architecture
  • Strong communications and consultative skills
  • Self-initiated and proactive
  • Experience in a remote software development environment
