Senior Compliance Attorney

As a Senior Compliance Attorney, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our mortgage lending practices are in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. This is a remote Contract/Consultant position.

• Provide guidance on U.S. regulatory and compliance matters related to residential mortgage banking
• Develop and implement effective compliance protocols and procedures
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of internal and regulatory requirements
• Manage licensing applications and oversee compliance with applicable licensing requirements
• Identify and prepare required loan closing documents and disclosures
• Communicate with outside counsel and manage relationships

• Law degree from a nationally accredited U.S. law school
• 5-10 years' experience in regulatory and compliance roles within residential mortgage banking
• Demonstrated expertise in U.S. federal and state residential mortgage lending laws, rules, and regulations
• Excellent English language skills (written and verbal)
• Strong organizational, communication, and technology skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe applications
