At Kyndryl, we're revolutionizing the way organizations approach technology modernization. As a Cloud Transformation Consultant, you'll play a crucial role in helping our clients migrate their legacy systems to the cloud, ensuring seamless integration and functionality of modernized workloads.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to join our team of experts in mainframe modernization projects. With extensive experience in using Mainframe Modernization tools like BASE100, you'll convert legacy mainframe workloads into modern workloads for the cloud. You'll advise on best practices and methodologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful cloud deployments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate D3 MF Track1 project, ensuring quality deliverables for migrated applications and cloud environments.
  • Advise on best practices and methodologies for mainframe application modernization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration and functionality of modernized workloads.
  • Migrate IBM Sterling to a cloud IaaS platform and define Cloud Batch processes under workload scheduler.
  • Work closely with BCP application team and D3 MF Track1 team for Azure Cloud Environment deployment and setup.
  • Ensure seamless integration and functionality of cloud-based solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for cloud deployment projects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud batch processes and integration platforms.

Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in mainframe modernization projects, focusing on using Mainframe Modernization tools that convert legacy mainframe workloads to Java.
  • Strong background in legacy mainframe technologies like COBOL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, MQ, Online, Batch, JCL, z/OS, TSO/ISPF, Workload Scheduler (CA ESP), and Endevor SCM.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience with BASE100 tool.
