Senior Automation Specialist for Construction Projects

We are seeking a skilled Senior Automation Specialist to join our team at Bechtel, a global leader in the infrastructure and energy sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and directing construction automation activities, collaborating with other teams to implement and operate automation systems, and ensuring the quality of design engineering data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical direction and assign work to discipline subordinates or others who assist in construction automation activities.
• Collaborate with engineering automation to ensure design engineering data quality and resolve any inconsistencies.
• Ensure that construction automation systems are properly configured to meet project needs and work processes.
• Verify data exchanges between construction automation systems are functioning correctly to support construction work activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems from an accredited college or university, and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
• Advanced knowledge of construction automation systems and associated standards, such as install quantities tracking and reporting, work packaging, cable reel administration, and permanent plant equipment maintenance.
• Microsoft Office Suite intermediate skills with emphasis on Microsoft Access and Excel.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 per year
