Job Description:
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be part of our team building a cutting-edge app that aggregates and delivers content from various sources. You will focus on crafting the frontend (70%) using React.js and Next.js, while also contributing to the backend (30%) using Python (Django) for API integrations and data handling.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a high-quality frontend experience using React.js and Next.js
- Implement dynamic and interactive UI components to enhance content presentation and user engagement
- Ensure responsive design and smooth performance across multiple devices and screen sizes
- Integrate APIs and third-party services to pull in content from multiple sources
- Contribute to backend development (Python) for API development and data processing
- Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to refine UX and functionality
- Optimize performance, SEO, and loading speeds to ensure a seamless user experience
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code, following best practices
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a full stack engineer, with a strong emphasis on frontend development
- Expertise in React.js and Next.js, with experience building interactive and responsive UIs
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, with a focus on performance optimization
- Strong experience with Python for backend development, including API design and data processing
- Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs and handling third-party data sources
- Ability to write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code in both frontend and backend
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced startup environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Availability to work on PST time zone
