Archiving Engineer

**What you will do**

The Archiving Engineer is responsible for managing end-to-end archival functions which includes Demand intake, Factory, Operations and supporting infrastructure platforms:
Key Responsibilities***
- Ensure efficient and effective archiving of digital records and documents.
- Plays a crucial role in preserving the organization's information assets and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Provide guidance to a team of archiving specialists and manage flawless and timely execution of archiving projects.
- Develop and implement archiving strategies, policies, and procedures to meet the organization's needs and regulatory requirements.
- Establish and maintain archiving standards, guidelines, and best practices.
- Conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions for enhancing archiving processes.
- Manage the Intake, Factory, Operations and supporting infrastructure platforms.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders in Legal and Records and Information Management teams to define archiving priorities, retention schedules, and disposal processes.
- Develop roadmap and implement appropriate archiving technologies and software systems to enhance efficiency and accessibility.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry-specific requirements related to record retention and archiving practices.
- Ensure 100% compliance with data protection and security policies.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional development.

**What we are looking for**

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
- 5 years experience in Information Technology
- 3 years hands on data archiving experience using Structured archiving tools (e.g. Informatica ILM, Solix), Unstructured Archiving tools (e.g. Hubstor/ Veritas Alta SaaS Protection, Metalogix),
- Experience with xRay for testing within Jira platform
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in archiving software and systems, as well as digital preservation techniques.
- Understanding of GxP validation requirements
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and present complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Desired Qualifications
- Experience with coding in Python,.Net, or React
