**Job Title: Mine Reclamation Scientist**

Our office in Lima, Surco, is dedicated to delivering high-quality engineering and scientific solutions to our clients. We are committed to sustainability and innovative practices in all our projects.

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct field investigations, including soil logging and sampling.
- Perform geotechnical logging of test pits and drill hole cores.
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation.
- Proven proficiency with GIS and AutoCAD for project planning and design is considered an asset.
- Proficiency with use of Python for data analysis and automation tasks is advantageous but not required.

**Qualifications**:

- Advanced proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
- Bachelor’s degree in Soil Sciences, Hydrology, Hydrogeology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in soil sciences, geological or geotechnical engineering.
- Graduate degrees (Masters) are preferred; equivalent combinations of education and work experience will also be considered.
- Proficiency in field investigations, including soil logging and sampling.
- Experience in soil stratigraphy, hydrological and geotechnical assessments and construction supervision.
- Strong understanding of hydrology and hydrogeology principles.
- Familiarity with GIS and AutoCAD tools for design and data management.
- Proficiency in use of Python is an advantage but not necessary.

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Expertise in soil sciences and related field methodologies.
- Knowledge of soil physics concepts as well as hydrology and hydrogeology principles.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
