The role of the Channel Specialist is to develop and maintain the sales channel strategy and budget in Electrification Business in Peru, ensuring regular follow-up and providing strategy input for the Sales team. Reporting to the Channel Manager you will plan and execute marketing and sales support to ensure customer satisfaction, and continuously monitor performance.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Specifying targets (e.g. volume, prices, mix) and ensuring they are achieved, and making sure that detailed business plans are in place.
- Taking part in negotiations, providing assistance to the Channel Specialist.
- Identifying and evaluating channel partners in partnership with the Channel Specialist, and authorizing them, as well as managing performance assessments for channel partners.
- Coordinating sales and marketing efforts and pricing policies that require channel/segment partner participation.
- Evaluating and certifying channel partners, and ensuring that training is available for them.
- Providing assistance in driving strategic partnerships, developing relationships with partners, customers and other decision-makers.
- Monitoring client financial status and reporting any changes regarding risk relating to contracts and prices across customers/channels/segments.

**Your background**:

- 5 years of experience in Sales working with distributors and/or panelists.
- Sound knowledge of products such as electrical equipment and electrical solutions (switches, contactors, meters, electrical panels, among others).
- Knowledge of reading electrical plans.
- A solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Knowledge of the market and the competition.
- Client prospecting.
- Use of Sales Force and SAP.
- Do a good follow-up of the opportunities until the closing of the sale.
- A Bachelor´s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical-Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Marketing or related careers.
- Advanced English.
