**Regional Public Policy Advisor - Asia**

Tearfund is seeking a skilled and visionary **Regional Public Policy Advisor - Asia** to lead our regional advocacy agenda and strengthen partnerships with governments, civil society, and faith-based organisations. In this role, you will champion initiatives that advance climate resilience, sustainable economic development, waste justice, and peacebuilding—helping communities move from crisis to resilience.

You'll be part of a dynamic regional team, building strategies that not only influence policy but also empower churches and communities to speak out for justice and creation care. This is a strategic role with both thought leadership and practical engagement, enabling Tearfund's mission to see people freed from poverty and living transformed lives.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead regional advocacy strategies on climate change, sustainability, waste justice, and resilience
- Build strong partnerships with governments, policymakers, civil society, and faith-based networks
- Equip and mentor churches and communities to influence decision-makers
- Represent Tearfund in regional and global advocacy platforms
- Contribute to programme design, fundraising, and research

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Master's degree in a relevant field (environmental science, development studies, public policy, or economics)
- Proven track record in advocacy and influencing policy change in Asia, preferably within an international development or non-profit context
- Strong expertise in economic and environmental sustainability, climate justice, and community development
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and strategic thinking skills
- Fluency in English (a regional language is highly desirable)
- A committed Christian aligned with Tearfund's values and mission
