**The Role**

As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You’ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients - which means some of the biggest in the world.

There’s never a typical day as a System Administrator at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. You’ll be managing systems data for clients and providing day-to-day solutions and security compliance. You’ll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

- Automation experience, especially IaaS (infrastructure as a code).
- Familiarity with scripting and programming languages (Bash, Powershell, Ansible, Python, Javascript) for automation solutions.
- Fundamental knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
- Windows OS (2016, 2019 & 2022), AD & VMware administration / Configuration / Troubleshooting
- Microsoft Active Directory and federation services
- Windows Cluster Administration / Configuration / Troubleshooting
- Create, modify and delete network shares assign and maintain space usage restrictions
- DNS, Fileserver, RDP Gateway, Certification Authority.
- Server migration activities as applicable.
- Restoring server operating system.
- Creating duplicate Virtual Machine’s using cloning technology.
- Creating Templates from VM’s, deploy VM’s from templates and allocate resources
- Perform OS upgrade activities and manual patch installation as required
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Working on escalated incidents and available 24/7 for on call support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of root cause analysis as appropriate and is able to define action plans and track to closure.
- Minimum of 1 year experience.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:

- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Perform periodic system performance tuning, schedule maintenance activity, conduct hardening of the operating systems.
- Physical OEMs hardware Administration / Configuration / Troubleshooting.
- Experience working with Cisco UCS
- Hands on experience in replication technology and DR orchestration.
- Vulnerability management
- Bachelor's Degree.
