Software QA Automation Engineer

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the development team to develop and iterate on scripted tests using automation tools, ensuring efficient and accurate validation of software functionality.
- Define and implement automated testing strategies, plans, and scripts to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and project managers, to gain a deep understanding of software requirements and effectively address them.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using C# and related tools such as SpecFlow, Playwrite, Rest #, and Azure DevOps.
- Drive the implementation of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes to optimize software delivery and shorten release cycles.
- Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot software defects, providing detailed bug reports and collaborating closely with development teams for prompt resolutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to software quality assurance and automated testing, providing guidance to the team.
- Foster collaboration within the team, encouraging improvements in testing processes and methodologies to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, helping them develop their skills in test automation practices and supporting their professional growth.

**Requirements**:

- Strong proficiency in spoken and written English to effectively communicate with both local and remote teams in the United States.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in software-automated testing, with a primary focus on test automation.
- Extensive expertise in C# as it relates to automated testing.
- Demonstrated work experience using software automation test products similar to or including SpecFlow, Playwrite, Rest #, and Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools for automated software delivery.
- Solid understanding of nUnit/xUnit frameworks for automated testing.
- Familiarity with Selenium for web-based test automation is highly beneficial.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products through effective automated testing.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.

Additionally, the following is required:

- Effective English communication skills to collaborate with an English-speaking remote team.
- Willingness to actively participate in daily Zoom or Teams meetings using a webcam.
