**In a nutshell**

We're seeking a Peru-based sourcing specialist to enhance our fresh produce procurement strategy. You'll be responsible for identifying top-quality suppliers across Peru, negotiating competitive prices, and managing end-to-end logistics for exports to the Middle East, Asia, and Europe. This role involves building strong supplier relationships, coordinating with logistics partners, ensuring quality control, and collaborating with our European team to deliver excellence from farm to destination.

**Day-to-day responsibilities**:

- Source premium fresh produce directly from Peruvian growers.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with trusted suppliers across Peru's agricultural regions.
- Negotiate competitive freight rates and coordinate with logistics partners for seamless international shipping.
- Collaborate with European colleagues to align procurement with global market demands.
- Implement comprehensive quality control measures throughout the sourcing process
- Manage claims resolution and ensure customer satisfaction from purchase to delivery.
- Oversee complete supply chain process ensuring products arrive at destination in optimal condition.

**Experience and requirements necessary to be successful in this role**:

- Extensive experience in bulk purchasing of fresh produce commodities (such as avocado, asparagus, blueberries).
- Proven track record in international export operations with deep understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Strong supplier management expertise within the fresh produce industry, including contract negotiation.
- Experience in claims management and dispute resolution processes.
- Comprehensive logistics knowledge covering both air and sea freight operations
- Fluency in Spanish and English for effective cross-cultural communication.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to promote digital platforms alongside fresh produce sales.
