The project:
We are looking for ambitious and dynamic project managers and program and project controls practitioners with a background in large civil projects/programs who are hungry for their next challenge. You will be joining a team made up of expats and locals alike - all committed to reducing inequality of the delivery of social services such as education and healthcare and connectivity (roads, telecomms).

Engages with internal / external stakeholders and leaders.
Develop category strategies, implement and manage them to deliver their goals.
Lead team on certain workstreams and initiatives delivering on time and to expectation, delivering to expected targets and KPIs.

You’ll be responsible for:

- Category management.
- Relationship management.
- Supervises daily activities of the team and the achievement of agreed targets and objectives.
- Due diligence and company/market understanding.
- Value creating in reference to process, performance and commercial activity.
- Delivers the development of plan/s and implementation.
- Coordinating activities across the team and providing support to team.
- Managing teams, driving performance and results, whilst delivering performance management, technical development and coaching.
- Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You’ll need to have:

- Proficiency in Spanish. Willingness to learn is desired.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office tools.
- Negotiation skills.
- Commercial acumen.
- Construction and market knowledge.
- CIPS underway.
- Ability to lead other and being a role model.
- GCSE (or equivalent).
- A level (or equivalent).

You’ll also be/have:

- Fully versed in the correct use of AWARD® (or similar) and how it can add value to a Client's procurement process.
- Experience or knowledge in work for taxes.
- Experience or knowledge in social infrastructure including hospitals and schools.
- Generally it/software savvy.
- Main contractor experience in Peru (or equivalent local town/city).
- CIPS qualified.
- Potential to lead teams in future.
- Degree (or equivalent).
