**The Work You’ll Do**:
The Associate Counsel is primarily responsible for negotiating and processing client contracts, performing legal research, preparing legal documents, and assisting other in-house counsel with various responsibilities.
- What are my responsibilities going to be, more specifically?_
- Negotiate contracts between the Company and its clients
- Researching and analyzing applicable law sources
- Preparing legal documents, including copyright registrations, trademark registrations/renewals
- Review Company documents for use of proper copyright, trademark and disclaimer notices
- Maintain document files and coordinating all contracting process flow with respect to clients and vendors
- Negotiate NDAs
- Act with integrity and demonstrates ethical behavior in all matters with all stakeholders.
- Take full responsibility for ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrate initiative, drive and determination to achieve results, success and growth.
- Maintain a high level of energy, enthusiasm, engagement and commitment to action.
- Develop trust and models open, candid, respectful communication and collaborative teamwork
- Demonstrate a high degree of self-awareness and commitment to personal development and learning
**What We Need From You**:
- Juris Doctor
- Admitted to practice law in at least 1 state
- Up to 1 year of contracting experience
