The Opportunity:
The Corporate Cloud Engineer - Azure will work at a corporate level, implementing projects with a clear focus on managing everything in an automated way. Further, they will also provide level 3 support if requested by the Desktop Support Team.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and monitor Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and Azure Virtual Desktop with a focus on Intune/Endpoint Manager and Autopilot.
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
- Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
- Write and maintain PowerShell scripts to increase system (and team) efficiency and lower the human intervention time on tasks.
- Technical escalation from Desktop Support team (Level 3 Support).
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
Skills we need:
- Technical or bachelor’s degree in Systems, Software Engineering, or another industry related career.
- Experience developing, managing, and monitoring Azure cloud Infrastructure.
- Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop, Intune/Endpoint Manager and Autopilot.
- Solid experience with Windows-based operating systems.
- Experience deploying and managing infrastructure resources using automation tools like PowerShell.
- Experience providing Level 3 Support.
- Upper intermediate English.
