**About the Role**

The People Partner Lead role is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides full cycle Human Resources support to our teams based in Peru - about 50 employees total. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great employee support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.

This position will report into the HRBP Director based in the US and will work closely with other HR team members from Employee Relations, L&D, Total Rewards and People Ops.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Be comfortable with high volume workload and not be afraid to 'roll up your sleeves”
- Serve as first point of contact of people questions and concerns ensuring outstanding customer focus by delivering value-add, best in class (HR) support
- Ensure compliance with local employment law
- Manages employee relations across the region. Provides both solutions and training to managers and employees on people issues..
- Support immigration and mobility needs by working with HQ team.
- Ensure that HR systems are kept current.
- Manage recruitment process for Peru and Costa Rica.
- Manage benefits administration which includes enrollment & deregistration process, notifying the vendors of salary and job change updates as required.
- Adopt and adapt existing WeWork HR practices and policies, developing local approaches to manage an effective regional HR function and ensure alignment of HR related programs, processes, and projects with strategic business objectives.
- Works directly with managers in all departments to support them in effectively managing their teams and managing performance
- Partner with payroll to ensure employees are setup correctly and any questions they have are answered in a timely way.
- Work with managers to identify training needs and partner with the L&D team to share local needs and feedback.

**Experience and Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources or related field is required
- Minimum 3 years experience in generalist HR capacity - Good understanding for all of the disciplines within HR: Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, HR Systems, HR Operations, Employee Engagement, and Organizational Development
- Minimum 2 years experience as a HR Business Partner with demonstrated success in meeting exceptionally high standards in a high volume, fast-paced, hands-on environment
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices for Latin America is desirable.
- Experience in a high-growth organization
- Understanding of the customer service/customer experience issues related to member-facing business
- Experience with an international company is desirable.
- Speaks English fluently.
