Pre Sales Engineer

The Pre Sales Engineer provides field technical support to customers by serving as the primary technical interface for TD SYNNEX products, solutions, and services. Performs a variety of product, and technical support functions which include research and resolution of pre-sales technical and process related issues. Such activities may include the following as well as other duties as assigned. "Let's Achieve Great Outcomes. TD SYNNEX is the partner that helps unlock business results for all." **What You'll Do**: - Provides pre-sales resolution of all technical and process related issues, using appropriate escalation points when necessary. - Consults with customers and technology group to clarify and/or resolve problems, evaluate operational and performance requirements. - Consults with customers concerning pre-sales design, development, and maintenance of products/services. - Assists sales channel, field teams and customers with pre-sales technical solutions. - Responsible for knowledge transfer of advanced technical theory to target audiences. - Communicates complex information and ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively to target audiences. - Participates in products, solutions, or services training to maintain technical knowledge, active certification, and competence. - Assists in determining the feasibility of proposal, conferring with customers and technology group to clarify and/or resolve problem. - Consults on advanced configurations on converged solutions. - "Sells best of breed" Solutions that include TD SYNNEX services Creates, presents, and executes strategies. - Performs other additional duties as assigned. **What We're Looking For**: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical education - 3-4 brands or advanced technical certifications in 1-2 brands. - Applies advanced knowledge of technical standards, principles, and concepts. - Proficient in English (level B2 or higher) required. - Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts. - Advanced knowledge of other related disciplines. - Solves highly complex and unusually challenging technical problems. - Assignments require extensive evaluation of alternatives and data. - Solutions are highly innovative and ingenious. - Is expected to make improvements to technology standards and practices. - Works virtually independently toward predetermined long-range goals and objectives. - Assignments are often self-initiated using independent judgment and discretion. - Work is checked through consultation and agreement with others and only informally from direct supervisor. - Serves as adviser to management and external spokesperson for the organization on major technical initiatives. - Actions guide and impact the successful completion of major projects.
