Engineer Nursery Projects

**KWS Perú SAC is looking for an Engineer Nursery Projects (M/F/d)** and the role is for our R&D station in** Tambo Grande (Piura).** In this position you will have responsibility of performing all activities related to the production of different genetic materials and research programs in corn crops according to the company's breeding strategy. **This is a full time and permanent role.**

**Your responsibilities**:

- Planning, supervision and execution of activities in the office, plant, greenhouse and field covering the following tasks: manual and mechanized planting, de-planting and/or pollination, harvesting, seed processing and export of corn seeds.
- Personnel management with focus on: leadership, motivation, communication, conflict management and compliance with protocols established by the company.
- Monitoring of personnel performance ratios and progress of activities in an optimal and timely manner.
- Collection and organization of data from all stages of the production process of activities related to corn research (genetic improvement) in the corporation's platforms and database.
- Technical guidance, work instructions to the permanent and temporary team and contribution of own ideas to the area manager.
- Ensure the quality, purity and traceability of production through quality controls and identification of critical points in the processes.
- Follow-up on the use, maintenance and care of all equipment and tools used in the activities.
- Support other activities related to seed production and other projects.

**Your profile**:

- Degree in agronomy, biology or related areas.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office package
- Intermediate English (writing, reading and speaking)
- Ability to collect data, analyze information and prepare reports.
- Driver's license (Category A1)
- Desirable practical experience in research and crop management activities.
- Experience in team management is desirable.
- Analytical skills (Priority analysis, logical judgment, common sense and critical thinking)
