**Underwriting Assistant (Bilingual English-Spanish) - Personal Auto Insurance**
**What You'll Do**
- Provide customer support via phone and chat in both English and Spanish.
- Assist customers and agent partners with policy questions, billing inquiries, and website navigation.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with internal underwriting standards.
- Communicate clearly with customers, explaining policy details and insurance terms in a simple and understandable way.
- Collaborate with the underwriting team to share insights and support efficient workflows.
- Handle a high volume of interactions while maintaining a professional and solutions-oriented approach.
This is a non-sales role. No insurance license or previous experience in underwriting is required, but prior experience in insurance customer service is preferred.**Qualifications**
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (advanced verbal and written communication skills in both languages).
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in insurance or financial services.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using computer systems and navigating CRM or policy management software.
- Excellent problem-solving and de-escalation skills when handling customer concerns.
**Preferred Experience**
- Experience in auto insurance customer service or policy support (preferred but not required).
- Familiarity with underwriting or insurance terminology is a plus.
