We are rapidly expanding and are looking for a Credit Associate to efficiently support Underwriting team members, to work in conjunction with other departments as well as individually. The position requires skills in time management, multitasking, detail-oriented and analytical skills.

**Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Conduct reviews on deals underwriting requests, covering background checks and document review and creation of financial tables
- Update dashboards for Pre-season
- Cross-reference financial documents looking for potential risk factors.
- Package potential deals for the finance committee, highlighting strengths and weaknesses
- Proactively manage the applicant pipeline while ensuring data accuracy and maintaining all underwriting quality standards
- Assist in the refinement and streamlining of existing processes.
- Support the retrieval of documentation to assess the credit worthiness of potential borrowers and minimize risk
- Various analyses as need on a deal to deal basis to evaluate the risk of potential deals

**Requirements**:

- BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Engineering, etc.
- 1 year in a client centered supportive role or administrative function within a fintech or financial services organization
- Proficiency with excel and basic formulas
- A can-do attitude, strong problem-solving mindset, and strong organizational skills with an outstanding eye for detail and a high degree of accountability
- Service-focused with superior time-management and communication skills.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (Speak, Read, Write)
- Comfortable with analyzing financial statements
