**Job Title**: Snowflake Engineer

**Location**: LATAM

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Snowflake Expert to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the management and optimization of our Snowflake data platform. You will work closely with our data teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our data warehouse.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Snowflake Platform Management:

- Design, implement, and manage Snowflake data platforms to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Monitor and optimize the Snowflake environment to meet busines requirements.
- Data Modeling and Design:

- Develop and implement effective data models within Snowflake to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
- Collaborate with data engineers and architects to design efficient and scalable data pipelines.
- Performance Tuning:

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in Snowflake by tuning queries, optimizing warehouse configurations, and implementing best practices.
- Security and Compliance:

- Implement and enforce security measures to protect sensitive data within the Snowflake environment.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies related to data governance.
- Collaboration:

- Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
- Provide guidance and training to team members on Snowflake best practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Snowflake Expert, with a strong track record of successfully implementing and managing Snowflake data platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, and best practices.
- Strong SQL skills and expertise in data modeling and design.
- Experience with ETL processes and tools.
- Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance in Snowflake.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS).
