Cruise Director

**We’re hiring: Cruise Director - Iquitos, Peru**

**Sounds great - what’s the role in a nutshell?**

The main tasks of our Cruise Director are to communicate and delegate functions to ensure a luxury service on board. This role demands coordination between the Iquitos office, the Lima office and the vessel. Leadership is essential to exert a healthy influence on the team in charge. This position is based in Iquitos, Peru; however, during time off, individuals can live in Lima, Perú.

**The Day to Day**:

- Exercise leadership in handling crew members’ responsibilities.
- Coordinate with the captain about the voyage to be made.
- Carry out the briefings to passengers.
- Prepare the operational report on incidents.
- Be in charge of closing consumptions of POS.
- Based on ISM certification: Be responsible for the evacuation of all passengers on the ship in case of emergency. Supervise compliance with the stipulated system standards.

**What are we looking for?**
- English speaker or native level proficiency.
- Technical or Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, Hospitality or Tourism Management.
- 3 years of work experience in luxury hospitality or cruise industry.
- Proven track record of leadership with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Proficient in computer skills and numeracy.
- You enjoy speaking and sharing your knowledge with customers.
- Customer Service capabilities, able to deal with a variety of clients and strong multi-tasking skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to plan ahead.
